Features
EKAN® MIX PAV 98 is a new generation superplasticizer based on polycarboxylate ethers, specifically formulated for the construction of concrete flooring, and particularly suitable for summer use. The mechanism of action of EKAN® MIX PAV 98 is based on a combination of effects: the powerful electrostatic and steric dispersing effect derived from the innovative chemistry of polycarboxylate ethers, and the acceleration of the hydration reaction, which reduces setting times.
EKAN® MIX PAV 98 must not be mixed or used together with naphthalene-based products.

Application
Dosage: 0.8 kg – 1.5 kg per 100 kg of cement.
EKAN® MIX PAV 98 is completely water-soluble. To achieve the best performance, it is recommended to add the product to the second half of the mixing water.
The optimal dosage of EKAN® MIX PAV 98 should be determined after on-site testing aimed at achieving the desired compressive strength and workability.

Precautions
The shelf life of EKAN® MIX PAV 98 is 12 months when stored in its original packaging in a dry environment protected from direct sunlight.
After a long period of inactivity, shake or stir the product, or use a circulation pump to homogenize it before use.
After a freeze/thaw cycle, stir the product before use.
