Features
EKAN® MIX 710 is a new-generation liquid superplasticizer additive based on polycarboxylic polymers, developed for the production of self-compacting concrete (SCC) in winter conditions.
Its formulation enables the production of concrete with high fluidity and rheological stability even at low temperatures, while ensuring a significant reduction in the water/cement ratio.
Thanks to the high dispersing efficiency of the polymer, EKAN® MIX 710 promotes homogeneous distribution of cement particles, improving workability of the mix and facilitating mold filling even in the presence of dense reinforcement or complex geometries.
In combination with an appropriate mix design, the product enables the production of stable self-compacting concrete resistant to segregation, even with limited fine material content.
EKAN® MIX 710 is particularly suitable for applications in cold weather conditions, where it helps maintain good concrete workability and promotes the development of early strength, optimizing setting times.
The product also enables the production of high aesthetic quality architectural concrete surfaces.

Application
Dosage: 0.4 kg – 2.0 kg per 100 kg of cement. For general concrete applications: 0.4% – 0.8%.
For high-fluidity or self-compacting concrete applications: 0.8% – 2.0%.
EKAN® MIX 710 is completely water-soluble. For best performance, it is recommended to add the product to the second half of the mixing water.

Precautions
The shelf life of EKAN® MIX 710 is 12 months when stored in its original packaging in a dry environment protected from direct sunlight.
After a long period of inactivity, shake, stir the product, or use a circulation pump to homogenize it before use.
After a freeze/thaw cycle, mix the product before use.
