Features
EKAN® MIX 500 is a new generation superplasticizing additive, formulated to ensure high water reduction and high workability.
It promotes the production of highly fluid concretes, with controlled rheology that facilitates placement and finishing.
Ideal for pumped concrete or complex elements, it ensures stable consistency and excellent surface quality.
EKAN® MIX 500 is suitable for low temperatures. It extends the setting time of the concrete. It must not be mixed or used with naphthalene sulfonate-based additives.

Application
Dosage: 0.4 kg – 2.0 kg per 100 kg of cement. For general concrete applications: 0.4% – 0.8%.
For high-fluidity or self-compacting concrete applications: 0.8% – 2.0%.
EKAN® MIX 500 is completely water-soluble. For best performance, it is recommended to add the product to the second half of the mixing water.
The optimal dosage of EKAN® MIX 500 should be determined after local testing of the desired mechanical properties of the cement and the workability of the mix.

Precautions
The shelf life of EKAN® MIX 500 is 12 months when stored in its original packaging in a dry environment protected from direct sunlight.
After a long period of inactivity, shake or stir the product, or use a circulation pump to homogenize it before use.
After a freeze/thaw cycle, stir the product before use.
